Great local pizza place. Food is always fresh and tasty. The owner and staff here always make us feel at home. The Greek Mac pizza is excellent and unique, one of our favorites.

First time trying Spartan pizza and it was amazing we got a lasagna to share and oh my goodness it was the best lasagna I have ever had in my life the side salad was not soggy and the garlic bread was Heaven

They're right in my neighborhood and we absolutely love the flavors here. We tend to order our pizza with a vegetable medley of olives, onions, jalapeños, peppers and mushrooms.

Spartans Pizzeria is a great local shop with great service and great quality food! They are all open to suggestions on improving the menu and willing to make changes as presented! Anyone who eats here will have a great experience!

GREAT FAMILY RESTAURANT! 3,4 stars? No way, moved away 10 years ago and every time I come home I'm sure to grab lunch and/or dinner from them. You don't appreciate a great local family owned spot till you don't have it anymore! Great pizzas, even better subs(try the grilled chicken w/lettuce and tomato), they'll even grill the sub roll and it adds the last touch of delicious! I love Spartan Pizza and am glad they are still here and hope they are here as long as their hearts desire! P.S. Did I mention it's family owned, go ahead visit them and you'll likely see the whole family there making your food. Skip the dominos and give Spartans a try! Written with a full stomach and great memories before heading back to San Diego! Rock on Spartans you're one of the best!

Oh Spartan Pizza, you treat me so well and Mama Spartan when I come in to pick up my dinner and you hand it to me, I feel like I'm getting a home cooked meal from my own mother. This little pizza and sub shop is great. It's prolly one of the best in it's class. They are a good $5 cheaper from alternatives (Suppa's and Broadway). It's also a mom and pop shop, so you feel good about helping out your neighbors. Three out of the 4 days, I've had the same exact thing for dinner, and it was a grilled chicken sub (on a syrian), and it has been perfect every time (and cheap!). Ordering off their menu saturday, I wanted a grilled chicken caesar wrap, but there wasn't one on their menu, so I ordered a grilled chicken sub and asked for some mods, and no hassle at all! (And not a lot of extra fees). How was it? So good, I ordered the same thing for the past two days. It helps that it's either my choices on the way home from work are, Mcdonalds, Wendy's, go to MB and buy groceries, or Spartan... At least with romaine lettuce and grilled chicken I don't feel like that much of a fat kid... except when I order a small fry and eat the whole thing myself. FYI their fries are greasy, delicious, and a small is large enough for 2 or 3. On terms of health, remember the episode of the Simpsons when homer gains weight, to the advice that if it turns a napkin clear you should eat it... well the white paper bag is way transparent when you take the fries out. It's a good place, and if they don't have something on the menu you like, I'm pretty sure they will work with you!
